ABOUT DEMESKI PROTOCOL©

The Angle Therapy

Demeski Protocol: The Angle Therapy is a unique therapy technique that consists of using manual pressure on certain muscle or joint areas of the body. The Demeski Protocol assesses and treats injuries by relaxing and stimulating the deep muscles that are connected to the injured joint or muscle region. This stimulation is done through manipulation or specific exercises aimed at rehabilitating or preventing sports and occupational injuries. This technique originated from the combination of the shiatsu therapy, physiotherapy Manipulation maneuvers and other techniques such as: Tui Na, Deep tissue, Myofacial and sports manipulative therapy.

The pressure must be exerted at a 90 degree angle, that is, the technique will be performed on all muscle or joint angles in a circle. The pressure can be performed through the palms of the hands, fingers, forearms, curves in combined movements, not exceeding 20 kg of weight. The connection between the pressure under pressure on the body and the physiotherapist's resistance are important criteria for the execution of the method. This method is unique and was developed with specific details about pressure, muscle strength, joint/muscle angles and hand movements we perform on joints and muscles. These technical specificities make this method unique and indisputable with regard to positive and safe results in the rehabilitation and prevention process.

With the creation of Demeski Protocol, we provide our athletes with a more efficient rehabilitation and prevention process.

ABOUT GUTO DEMESKI

My name is Guto Demeski, creator of the Demeski Protcol©. I'm Brazilian, a physiotherapist specializing in shiatsu therapy and sports massage, I came to the United States to study and accompany the fighter Fabrício Werdum in his fight with Fedor Emelianenko in the city of San Jose in California in 2010.

I’m certified in sports therapy at South Bay Massage College in Manhattan Beach, California.

I am a physiotherapist specializing in shiatsu therapy and sports therapy. I have been working with specific preventive and rehabilitative sports physiotherapists since 2002 in Brazil.

I was responsible for the preventive physiotherapy program for the competition athletes at the Winner Behring Jiu-Jitsu Academy in the city of Porto Alegre. I continue to work with high-performance athletes to this day.

I believe that the prevention process is extremely important for the control of sports and occupational injuries. My goal is to improve your quality of life in rehabilitation or prevention.

Furthermore, I've been a jiu-jitsu black belt since 2006, under the guidance of professors Marcio Corletta and Fabricio Werdum.  I've been practicing jiu Jitsu since 1996 in Brazil at Winner Behring Jiu-Jitsu Academy.  At this time, I started to build my knowledge about injuries, movements, rehabilitation, and prevention.  This experience gave me the ability to develop my own method of assessment, treatment, and prevention of sports and occupational injuries.
